How to look up your official RFC with your CURP

For an invoice, a job or an official procedure, use the RFC assigned to you by SAT. A calculation based on your name is an estimate and may differ.

Use the official SAT lookup

Open the official service “Consulta tu clave de RFC mediante CURP”. Have your CURP ready and follow the application’s instructions. Enter your personal details only on the official website. CalcularRFC does not receive them or carry out this lookup for you.

Calculation, lookup and verification are different

A calculation constructs a key using rules. A lookup retrieves a registered key. Verification checks whether a person or company appears in the registry. A result from our calculator or format checker is not proof of registration.

If no record appears or your details do not match

Check your CURP against your identity documents. If you cannot retrieve your key or find an error, contact SAT through its official channels. Do not choose a different homoclave or create a second registration to try to fix it.

If the official service is temporarily unavailable

Try again later through the SAT portal. If you already have a Constancia de Situación Fiscal, check the RFC shown on it. Avoid sending identity documents or passwords to websites offering to recover your key for you.
