RIF and RESICO comparison: 2026 simulation

Compare income tax scenarios assuming income and expenses are evenly distributed throughout the year.

Amounts in Mexican pesos. Your data stays on your device.

A scenario, not an automatic regime choice

RIF is a transitional regime for taxpayers who retained eligibility, not a new-registration option. Income limits of $2 million for RIF and $3.5 million for RESICO are only part of the eligibility requirements. We do not recommend a regime solely from the calculated tax.

Comparison assumptions

RIF: annual profit divided into six two-month periods, using the 2026 definitive table and income tax reduction from 100% in year 1 to 10% in year 10. RESICO: annual income divided into 12 months, with the monthly rate on cash income without deductions. Each payment estimate is multiplied by the period count. VAT, special incentives, withholding, losses from other periods and adjustments are excluded. If income varies, calculate actual periods with SAT.
